Please welcome your new moderator, Peter Taylor
Math has been running without any community moderators for a while. This is not ideal from a community-building perspective, and with this community in particular, it's also far from ideal for Codidact staff members who are not math-fluent to be the ones evaluating flags and handling other issues.

Please welcome [Peter Taylor](https://math.codidact.com/users/36356), who has graciously agreed to be a moderator here. Ideally we'd like to have more than one moderator -- it's easier when you have someone to discuss issues with -- but one is a big improvement over zero. [Nominations are still welcome](https://math.codidact.com/posts/279235).

Please also continue to use meta to work out issues of scope, policy, and whatever else affects this community's ability to grow. We saw some hesitancy from candidates because a lot of things here aren't fleshed out yet, but moderators aren't the ones who should be making those decisions -- the community should, and then moderators can implement whatever y'all agree on. Please help our moderators succeed by working together; they're here to serve, not to fix everything single-handedly. Thanks, and welcome Peter!
