- How can I better Figure 2 in James Stewart, Daniel Clegg, Saleem Watson, *Calculus Early Transcendentals* (2021 9 ed), p. 987? Addition and multiplication are missing. Figure 2 fails to picture what shall be added, and what shall be multiplied. Figure 2 keeps rooking my students into mixing up + and ×!
