LaTeX formulas not rendered correctly in summary

+3
−0

I've noticed that the question preview of several questions on the Q&A page contains “misplaced &” with yellow background, which turns out to be a MathJax error. However opening one of them shows that the post itself is just fine.

However the formula that doesn't correctly show up in the preview contains a larger-than sign. And using “show LaTeX source” on the error message in the messages list shows p>0 here.

This problem is now fixed, but you can't see the fix here because previews are turned off. Previews are turned off because of this problem -- rendered Mathjax can be very tall and that did unfortunate things to the category page. We're happy to turn previews back on if that's what folks want. At least now they won't have the formatting error reported in this question.
