  • Yeah, I shouldn't have done that, sorry. It's possible that the methods that answer one also answer the other, but I don't know if that's the case. I've reopened it.
  • Thinking that I had acted on my own for reasons forgotten, I reopened it in response to this question. The questions do sound awfully similar -- that the methods that answer one would also answer the other -- but I'm not a math expert.
  • It's now been pointed out that this was flagged as a duplicate by someone who's way more experienced with the subject matter than I am, and I'm feeling bad for having reopened prematurely. I don't want to go back and forth and back and forth, but I'd ask you to at least look over your questions again and address the feedback you've received.
