What kind of logic does “Logic in the Theory and Practice of Lawmaking” employ?

I stumbled on 2016 Springer book Logic in the Theory and Practice of Lawmaking. I was curious and leafed through.

What kind of logic is this? I scanned just the pages with the most logic symbols.

What level and subject in university do you learn this logic? Google previews the book, and page xix starts to list contributors' degrees. I see no math degree!

If you page through the book, you can see that most of the definitions (and what the symbols mean) are defined there. I don't know which university course teaches this, but enrolling in a logic course would probably be satisfactory. — kreijstal 29 days ago
